One who makes friends with a prostitute is also a prostitute. Kogites are not expecting much different from a governor whose predecessor activated a Machiavellian scheme when he was the governor of the state. Of course, nothing. The former embezzled in form, while the incumbent leaves one door open for the entitlement of the workers’ salaries. The allowance from the federal government keeps coming, yet there is still a lack of social amenities in the state. Go to Ankpa Local Government and see the governor’s lodge, then you will understand.
Some said, "The incumbent governor is working and paying workers’ salaries in the state."
If it is because our country is a nation where corruption has eaten deeply into our leaders, we should not be celebrating the number one citizen of any state over the payment of workers’ salaries.
I want us to know that the salaries of the workers are their entitlement, which nobody should deny them.
It is their right, and they have the liberty to ask or demand whenever their stipend is delayed.
Ganaja Road in Kogi State is as bad as the road from Imane to Okpo.
Kogi State is blessed to have the most obedient youths in Nigeria, but they are the ones suffering unemployment, denial of scholarships, lack of inclusiveness, and discontinuity by our politicians in the state.
Let us reduce the rate of crime in the state by engaging the youths through certain positions in government. Let us fix them in one place, a place where they can be getting 5 naira or 2 naira at the end of the month.
It pains me a lot every time I see our people criticizing the government; it simply shows that those people are jobless. They have time to criticize the government, but if they were busy doing something, believe me, they would have no time. They would not even remember where their phone is to write about the government.
